Delete Your Thira Account
Use the email associated with your Thira account, including a Google account email or Apple private relay address.
Verify your account email
To delete your account from the web, you must be able to receive email at the address currently associated with your Thira account. If you are still signed in to the app, you can delete your account from Account -> Delete Account instead.
Enter the code
If that email is connected to an active Thira account, a deletion code has been sent. The code expires in 5 minutes.
Confirm deletion
Once deleted, your Thira account will no longer be available. We process account deletion under our Privacy Policy.
Deleting your Thira account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Please cancel through the store where you purchased it to avoid future charges.
Deletion complete
Your account deletion request has been completed. Remember to cancel any active App Store or Google Play subscription separately if you have not already done so.
Subscription Cancellation
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are managed by Apple or Google. Thira does not receive your full store billing details and is unable to cancel, refund, pause, or change those subscriptions for you.
- Google Play subscriptions can be managed at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
- For Apple subscriptions, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your Apple Account name, tap Subscriptions, choose Thira, and tap Cancel Subscription. Apple also provides instructions at support.apple.com/en-us/ht202039.
If You Cannot Access Your Email
If you cannot receive email at the address associated with your Thira account and you are not signed in to the app, Thira may be unable to verify that you are the account holder. Support can explain the process, but Thira may decline deletion requests it is unable to verify.
