Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Soliton Group LLC collects, uses, and protects information for Thira and Thira: Meditation & Wisdom. We collect information needed to operate Thira, secure accounts, provide guided practice, track progress, and improve reliability.
Information We Collect
Waitlist and website forms may collect email address, source, IP address, user agent, Cloudflare Turnstile signals, and validation signals used to prevent abuse.
Account and authentication data may include email address, display name, linked sign-in identities, verification codes, session and security state, device keys, app attestation data, push notification tokens, and app/device information.
Practice data may include programs and sessions you start or complete, when you listen, listening duration, progress, milestones, recommendations, plan access, and related app activity.
Offline mode is available to subscribers. Offline mode and downloads may store program content, one selected voice per downloaded program, playback state, and technical assets on your device so guidance can be rendered and played with limited connectivity. The app still attempts to start online when possible to check account status, subscription access, revocations, and service updates.
Thira uses synthetic voice rendering for guided audio, including local voice rendering technologies. We may process technical information needed to select, download, cache, render, and troubleshoot voices and audio playback.
Journey Book entries are encrypted before storage with a passphrase-controlled key. Thira stores encrypted blobs and is unable to decrypt, read, or review the contents of your entries. Thira is also unable to recover your passphrase. Some journal metadata, such as entry date, program ID, and session ID, may be stored in plaintext so the app can organize entries.
Purchase data may include entitlement status, subscription status, product identifiers, transaction identifiers, dates, and store records provided by Apple or Google. Thira does not receive your full App Store or Google Play billing details.
How We Use Information
We use information to operate Thira, authenticate users, secure the service, provide sessions and recommendations, track progress, send account and waitlist emails, manage entitlements, prevent abuse, diagnose errors, and improve performance.
Thira does not sell personal data, run behavioral advertising, or track you across third-party apps or websites for advertising. Recommendations may use your Thira practice activity and may recommend premium programs, but they are product guidance rather than third-party ad targeting.
Service Providers
We use service providers to operate Thira, including Cloudflare for hosting, security, Turnstile, Workers, and D1 storage; Firebase Cloud Messaging and Google services for push notifications and sign-in; Apple for Sign in with Apple and App Store purchases; Google Play for purchases; and email delivery providers for account and verification emails.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. No system is perfectly secure.
Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to operate Thira, provide account features, secure the service, comply with legal or store requirements, prevent fraud, and maintain billing records.
You can delete your account in the Thira app or through our account deletion page. Deletion removes account-identifying data and private user content from active account systems. De-identified or aggregated app usage data is not account data and may be retained. Thira may also retain limited records when needed for legal, billing, fraud-prevention, security, or compliance purposes. Deleting your Thira account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription.
Your Choices
You may update your profile, change your email, delete your account, reset your encrypted journal, and manage notification settings in the app. To request help, contact support@thira.app.
Children
Thira is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided information to Thira, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it if we determine it was collected from a child under 13.
