Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of Thira and Thira: Meditation & Wisdom, operated by Soliton Group LLC. By using Thira, you agree to these Terms.
Who May Use Thira
Thira is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Thira only with permission from a parent or guardian. Thira is not directed to children under 13.
What Thira Provides
Thira is a meditation and contemplation app. It offers guided practices and reflections informed by philosophical, contemplative, and religious traditions. Thira aims to preserve the character of each tradition: Buddhist programs may include Buddhist meditation, Zen programs may include Zen practice, Stoic programs may include Stoic reflection, and some traditions may include devotional or religious elements within reasonable product boundaries.
Thira may address sensitive topics such as stress, loss, death, grief, meaning, relationships, and mortality. Some practices or teachings may feel unfamiliar depending on your background.
Thira uses synthetic voice rendering for guided audio, including local voice rendering technologies. Voice output may vary by device, voice, and downloaded content.
Offline Mode and Downloads
Thira may offer subscribers an offline mode when limited connectivity is available. The app is designed to open in regular online mode first so it can check account status, subscription access, revocations, and service updates. Offline mode is for listening when connectivity is limited; it does not replace account, subscription, or security checks when the app can connect.
You may be able to download one voice per program so guidance can be rendered and played when you are offline. Downloaded content remains subject to your plan, these Terms, and any technical limits in the app.
Not Medical Advice
Thira is for meditation, contemplation, education, and personal practice. Thira does not provide medical advice, mental-health care, diagnosis, treatment, therapy, depression treatment, emergency support, or crisis care. Thira is not a substitute for a physician, therapist, counselor, or other qualified professional.
If you may be experiencing a medical or mental-health emergency, contact emergency services or a qualified professional. In the United States, you can call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
Accounts
You are responsible for the account email and sign-in methods associated with your Thira account. If you use Sign in with Apple, your account email may be an Apple private relay address. If you use Google sign-in, your account email is the verified email provided by Google.
Plans and Purchases
Thira may offer a Free plan with limited access, a paid Personal plan, and a paid Family plan. Plan features, included seats, pricing, renewal periods, and technical limits are shown in the app or store purchase flow.
Paid subscriptions may renew automatically unless canceled before renewal. The price, billing period, and renewal terms are shown before purchase by the Apple App Store or Google Play. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through the store account used to purchase them. Store terms may require cancellation at least 24 hours before renewal.
Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are managed by Apple or Google. Thira does not receive your full store billing details and is unable to cancel, refund, pause, or change those subscriptions for you.
Deleting your Thira account does not cancel an active App Store or Google Play subscription. To avoid future charges, please cancel your subscription through the store where you purchased it.
- Google Play subscriptions can be managed at play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions.
- For Apple subscriptions, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your Apple Account name, tap Subscriptions, choose Thira, and tap Cancel Subscription. Apple also provides instructions at support.apple.com/en-us/ht202039.

If you download Thira from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the store provider is not responsible for maintaining or supporting Thira, except as required by applicable law or store terms. Soliton Group LLC is responsible for Thira and these Terms.
For Apple App Store downloads, these Terms are between you and Soliton Group LLC, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Thira. Soliton Group LLC is responsible for product claims, warranty claims, and intellectual-property claims relating to Thira, subject to these Terms and applicable law. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You must comply with applicable third-party terms and legal restrictions when using Thira.
Family Plans
Family plan features may share limited account and practice information among family members, such as membership status, invitations, and practice activity summaries. Journal entries are not shared through family plan features.
